Description
This is without question the most highly desirable of all the Khun Paen amulets blessed by Luang Phor Suang. A very rare first generation pim with yant dtree to the reverse .
His first generation amulets were created in B.E.2519 (1976 AD) is getting rare in the amulet market today. There are 2 generations of amulets created by Luang Phor Suang that is backed by contemporary collectors. The second generation was created in B.E.2539 (1996 A.D.). His second generation amulets was kept at Wat Suthat until B.E.2550 before released to the masses. Therefore, the prices are still affordable.
Amulets blessed by Luang Phor Suang are currently some of the most highly sought after pims on the Thai market. Generally there are a few known Phims in his first generation amulets; Phra Khun Paen, Phra Somdej, Phra Pikanet, Phra Jao Sua, Phra Sivali, Phra Pong Supan Phra Nang Phaya and Phra Soomkor. It is learned that his special pims i.e. Phra Khun Paen Lang Yant Dtree and Phra Somdej Devada Len Din of the first generation are the highest sought after mainly due to scarcity from a collectorâs perspective
Essentially the sudden popularity has been driven by a monk who led a solitary and somewhat mysterious life, a monk with an illusive biography, known for his eccentricities but even better known for his amulets which are considered to be highly efficacious and often associated with accounts of extreme luck and fortune.
His amulets are also believed to be inherently powerful for invulnerability and protection (Kong Grapan.) and in particular from malevolent forces and accidents. Countless testaments support this widely held belief, with many lives reportedly being spared whilst his amulets were being worn.
The most interesting aspect of his amulets is the duality of purpose and multiple blessings, ranging from Chok Laap, luck, wealth and fortune to Sian Chok or extreme luck in all forms of gambling, depending on the time period of worship. Many of his amulets when reversed can be used as a channel to request guidance, support and help from the spirit of LP Suang
His first generation Khun Paen and Somdej pims have almost but disappeared from the open market and we would highly recommend acquiring at least one of these amulets if you can. His first generation amulets were blessed in BE 2519 and comprise a number of pims, including amongst others, Phra Somdej, Khun Paen, Phra Jao Sua, Pra Pikanet, Phra Sivalee and Phra Somkor etc
This is a first Generation Khun Paen, known as Phra Khun Paen Lang Yant Dtree 1st Generation (BE 2519) It is a highly distinctive amulet and very rare. Not only does it have the yant to the reverse it is personally signed by Luang phor Suang.
As with all the amulets in this first generation series, they were blessed in BE 2519 by Luang Phor Suang for three days and three nights. The amulets were then stored in the Ubosot at Wat Suthat for a number of years before a final blessing at a grand ceremony held at the temple in Bangkok

After the passing away of Luang Phor Suang, there have been many amulets created by monks who want to pay respect to him by featuring his image. Some examples are Rian or medallion of Luang Pu Suang B.E.2544 created at Wat Prai Pattanaram (where Luang Pu Suangâs body is returned after passing away), amulets from Wat Krabor, etc. Therefore, it is always a good practice to seek further information on the history background.
